Have mobile linked to Aadhaar? Get PAN instantly

Now you can get a PAN allotted to you by the income tax department instantly if you have an Aadhaar-linked mobile number. The instant PAN will be a paperless exercise where an applicant will be issued an e-PAN free of cost. The finance minister had made the provision for instant PAN in her Budget announcements in February.

India sees biggest one-day jump in corona cases

The death toll due to Covid-19 rose to 4,706 in the country, while the number of cases climbed to 1,65,799, registering an increase of 175 deaths and a record jump of 7,466 cases since Thursday. The number of active Covid-19 cases stood at 89,987, while 71,105 people have recovered and one patient has migrated.
